Goals, assists, and player statistics

Player statistics turn match events into season-long records: who scored, who set up chances, how many minutes they logged, and often discipline or defensive actions. They are great for comparing contribution over time when you know what each number means. Barxad player and player-stats pages collect these figures next to fixtures and club context.

A goal is awarded to the player who last legally touched the ball before it wholly crosses the line, except for own goals. Deflections off teammates still count for the shooter if the attempt was on target in the first place under the competition’s recording rules.

An assist is usually the final pass or touch that directly leads to a goal, including intentional deflections that create the chance. Rebounds where the scorer wins the ball alone often do not produce an assist.
